Brief Explanation

A quick overview of the contract you're about to sign as an independent contractor with Service Club. This agreement outlines your role, responsibilities, and key terms that ensure a smooth working relationship.

Your compensation will be based on either an hourly rate or a flat rate, agreed upon before each job. Payment is processed twice a month on a NET 15 schedule, meaning you'll receive payment within 15 days of submitting an invoice. To ensure payment, you must submit invoices on time and complete all assigned checklists.

There is a 30-day probation period, during which your performance will be reviewed.

Service Club reserves the right to terminate the contract if expectations are not met. Maintaining professionalism, proper uniform, and high service standards is mandatory, and failure to do so may result in non-payment or termination.
You are also required to comply with Service Club's policies, including rules about professionalism, vehicle branding, restricted activities, and confidentiality. Soliciting clients directly, promoting competitors, or sharing company information on social media is strictly prohibited. Violations may lead to immediate termination and potential legal consequences.

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and equipment, unless otherwise agreed upon. You must have general liability insurance, and if using your personal vehicle, you must maintain proper insurance coverage.

Appliance Repair Technician

NotesServices to Be Provided  

The Contractor agrees to perform the following tasks as part of the Appliance Repair Services:

a. Diagnosis & Troubleshooting  

  • Identifying issues with kitchen, laundry, and other household appliances.

  • Using diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint mechanical and electrical failures.

  • Providing accurate assessments and recommending repair solutions.

b. Appliance Repair & Maintenance  

  • Repairing and replacing damaged or faulty components in refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and other appliances.

  • Performing preventive maintenance to enhance appliance performance and longevity.

  • Ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and secure installation of parts.

c. Installation of New Appliances  

  • Properly installing and setting up household and commercial appliances.

  • Connecting water lines, electrical wiring, and gas hookups (if licensed and permitted).

  • Ensuring all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations.

d. Testing & Quality Assurance  

  • Conducting final inspections and tests to verify proper appliance functionality.

  • Ensuring all safety features and settings operate as intended.

  • Educating clients on basic appliance operation and maintenance.

e. Special Repair & Service Requests (Upon Approval)  

  • Handling emergency appliance repairs upon request.

  • Performing complex repairs on high-end or specialty appliances.

  • Conducting warranty service work as required.

The Contractor is expected to provide and maintain the following tools and materials unless otherwise specified by S-Club:

  • Specialized diagnostic tools and repair kits for appliance servicing.

  • Safety gear (gloves, eye protection, voltage testers, etc.).

  • Replacement parts (when applicable) or ability to source necessary parts.

b. S-Club-Supplied Equipment (if applicable)  

  • In certain cases, S-Club may provide specialty tools or partsfor specific jobs.

The Contractor agrees to perform the following tasks as part of the Duct Cleaning Services:

a.  Air Duct & Vent Cleaning

  • Removing dust, debris, and contaminants from HVAC ductwork, vents, and returns.

  • Inspecting air ducts for signs of mold, mildew, pests, and excessive buildup.

  • Using industry-approved methods such as vacuuming, brushing, and air blasting to ensure thorough cleaning.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting vent covers, grills, and registers.

b. Dryer Vent Cleaning

  • Clearing lint and debris from dryer vents to improve airflow and reduce fire hazards.

  • Ensuring proper ventilation and advising clients on maintenance frequency.

c.  HVAC System Component Cleaning (As Required)

  • Cleaning blower motors, evaporator coils, and condenser coils if necessary.

  • Inspecting filters and replacing them upon request.

 

 d. Mold & Allergen Mitigation (If Applicable)

  • Applying antimicrobial treatments to air ducts if mold or bacterial growth is detected.

  • Using HEPA-filtered vacuums and air scrubbers to minimize airborne allergens.

e. Post-Construction & Deep Cleaning Services (Upon Approval)

  • Performing intensive duct cleaning following renovations or new construction.

  • Removing construction dust, drywall debris, and contaminants from ventilation systems.

Emergency Restoration Technician

The Contractor agrees to perform the following tasks as part of the Emergency Restoration Services:

a. Water Damage Restoration

  • Extracting standing water from affected areas using industrial-grade equipment.

  • Removing damaged flooring, drywall, and insulation to prevent mold growth.

  • Installing and operating dehumidifiers and air movers to dry out spaces.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to prevent bacteria and mold formation.

b. Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration

  • Assessing fire-damaged structures and determining salvageable materials.

  • Cleaning soot, smoke residue, and odors from walls, ceilings, and surfaces.

  • Using specialized equipment to eliminate lingering smoke smells.

  • Assisting in debris removal and property stabilization post-fire.

c. Mold Remediation & Prevention

  • Identifying and removing mold-affected areas following safety protocols.

  • Applying antimicrobial treatments to prevent mold regrowth.

  • Setting up air scrubbers and HEPA vacuums to remove airborne spores.

d. Storm & Disaster Recovery

  • Securing and boarding up damaged windows, doors, and roofs after storms.

  • Removing fallen trees, debris, and hazardous materials.

  • Assisting in structural drying and reconstruction planning.

e. Emergency Response & Mitigation (Upon Approval)

  • Providing immediate response services in disaster situations (floods, fires, hurricanes, etc.).

  • Coordinating with insurance adjusters, property owners, and service teams.

  • Ensuring affected properties are stabilized before further restoration.

  • Fence Washing: Cleaning vinyl, wood, and metal fences to restore appearance.

b. Window Washing (Exterior Only)

  • Glass Cleaning: Washing and drying exterior windows to remove streaks, smudges, and dirt.

  • Screen & Frame Cleaning: Wiping down and maintaining window screens and frames.

  • Skylight Cleaning: Ensuring clear and streak-free glass surfaces.

c. Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Debris Removal: Clearing leaves, dirt, and other obstructions from gutters and downspouts.

  • Ensuring proper lifting techniques and safe handling of heavy items.

b. Construction Debris Removal

  • Removing leftover materials such as wood, drywall, metal, and concrete from renovation or construction sites.

  • Properly sorting and disposing of construction debris according to local regulations.

c. Furniture & Appliance Removal

  • • Safely removing and hauling away unwanted or old furniture.

  • • Disconnecting and removing appliances while ensuring no damage to property.

  • • Determining if items can be recycled, donated, or disposed of properly.

d. Yard Waste & Outdoor Junk Removal

  • Collecting and disposing of leaves, branches, and other natural debris.

  • Removing unwanted outdoor furniture, grills, sheds, or play structures.

  • Properly sorting and disposing of waste according to environmental guidelines.

e. Special Requests & Hazardous Waste (Upon Approval Only)

  • Handling special requests such as hoarder cleanouts, estate cleanouts, and large-scale junk removals.

  • The Contractor is not permitted to handle hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, asbestos, medical waste) unless pre-approved and certified.

  • Trash Removal: Emptying garbage cans and disposing of waste in designated areas.

  • Bathroom Sanitation: Cleaning sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, mirrors, and tile surfaces.

  • Kitchen Cleaning: Wiping down appliances, disinfecting countertops, cleaning sinks, and mopping floors.

  • Restocking Supplies: Replenishing cleaning supplies, paper products, soap, and other necessary items.

b. Deep Cleaning Services (as required)

  • Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning: Treating stains, vacuuming, and deep-cleaning fabrics.

  • Window Washing (Interior Only): Cleaning glass surfaces, wiping down frames, and removing streaks.

  • Baseboards & Wall Spot Cleaning: Removing scuff marks and dirt accumulation.

  • Appliance Cleaning: Deep cleaning inside ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, and dishwashers.

c. Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning

  • Empty Property Cleaning: Ensuring vacant units or homes are thoroughly cleaned before or after a tenant’s stay.

  • Cabinet & Drawer Cleaning: Wiping down and disinfecting storage spaces.

  • Detailing Fixtures & Light Switches: Removing dust, stains, and buildup from small surfaces.

d. Special Projects (Upon Request & Pre-Approval)

  • Post-Construction Cleanup: Removing dust, debris, and leftover materials from renovation projects.

  • Laundry Services: Washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes or linens (if requested).

  • Organization & Decluttering: Assisting with tidying up, arranging household items, and optimizing space.

  • Installing or assembling furniture, shelving, or fixtures as required.

b.  General Maintenance & Repairs

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.

  • Basic carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and cabinetry.

  • Fixing and maintaining flooring, tiles, and drywall.

  • Painting and touch-up work as needed.

f. Exterior & Grounds Maintenance

  • Minor landscaping work, such as trimming hedges and clearing pathways.

  • Responding to urgent maintenance calls (if available).
